During pregnancy your body experiences many changes. There are also a lot of “do’s and dont’s” to get your head around – what you’re allowed to eat, which side you are meant to lie on, what exercise is safe….and that’s just scratching the surface! It’s not hard to see why being pregnant can come with a huge amount of physical and mental stress and overwhelm.
Pregnancy Yoga is a great way to maintain a healthy mind and body. There are many benefits, including:
Improved sleep, reduced stress, increased flexibility and endurance (great for labour!), reduced lower back pain, decreased nausea. Plus pregnancy yoga can help develop the bond between mother and baby.
bendy yoga classes are nurturing and inclusive and are designed to support you and your well-being as your body changes through pregnancy. Classes are small and friendly with a maximum of 8 participants so you can meet other Mums-to-be and share the experience of being pregnant.
No prior yoga experience necessary. All equipment provided. Please bring a water bottle and a cushion to maximise your comfort in relaxation.
